Hot Cranberry Bake
This is a delicious dessert for this time of year, and a great one to take to a gathering!
Layer in a lightly greased 2-quart baking dish: 4 cups peeled, chopped cooking apples 2 cups fresh cranberries
Sprinkle with: 1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice 1 cup sugar Set aside.
Combine: 1-1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 cup melted butter
Stir until moistened and crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit.
Bake uncovered at 325 degrees F. for 1 hour. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
