This is one of my favorite combinations - apples & cranberries! This is the time of year to really enjoy them!
1 cup sugar 1/4 cup flour 2 tsp. cinnamon 5-6 apples, sliced 1 cup fresh cranberries
Put all ingredients into a pie crust; cover with top crust and seal (pinch) edges. Brush crust with beaten egg white and bake at 350 degrees, 30-45 minutes.
CRUMB TOPPING OPTION (in place of top crust): 1/2 cup rolled oats 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup all purpose flour or oat flour 1/4 cup butter, softened
Combine all ingredients in small bowl, mix with fork or pastry blender until crumbly. Sprinkle over pie before baking.
