Makes 1-1/4 cup
1 cup mayonnaise 1/2 small onion or 1 shallot 2 T. red wine vinegar 1 T. sugar 3/4 tsp. Italian seasoning (or a few springs fresh Italian herbs such as basil and oregano) 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. garlic salt or powder 1/8 tsp. fresh ground pepper
Place all ingredients in blender; cover and blend on medium speed 15 seconds or until smooth.
Cover and chill.
